I read a book about Big Star and now I can't stop listening to this record. It is amazing. Bright at times, like Thank You Friends. Dark, like in Kangaroo. Beautiful, like in Blue Moon and Nighttime. So, I am at a wedding on Saturday. Wendy, my fiance, is shooting the photos and I went to help. The ceremony is going and it is actually really nice. I think we have all had this happen. Unually it is a good song, typically the last song you listened to before you started work for the day or whatever. Sometimes it is a bad one. I once had Mightnight Maniac by Krokus stuck in my head for nearly 2 weeks. It was a horrible nightmare. Sure other song would pop in there, but Krokus would soon take over.
