I just can't stop listening to.....

Posted over 5 years ago
I read a book about Big Star and now I can't stop listening to this record. It is amazing. Bright at times, like Thank You Friends. Dark, like in Kangaroo. Beautiful, like in Blue Moon and Nighttime. Frightening, like in Holocaust. It covers such a range of emotions. It is one of my fav records of all time. The book is good also. Listen to this record if you haven't. If you have it, take it out and give it a play again. I wish I could make a record a tenth as good as it. It would still be a great record at that percentage.

  1. dragonhead says I play it all the time! The book is excellent. Usually these rock biographies are a load of rubbish, but that one isn't.
