  4. jenny says Yeah, it's kind of a cool site, isn't it? I really like making mixes. I enjoyed yours, Neill. I'll have to go back to the WIFI to check out 7-how-7's. I think you can only have one at a time per password and user name, but there's no reason you couldn't invent another of each?

  5. fistula spume says Cool I can't wait to listen. I love Muxtape. I need to update mine. Right now it's a mix of Brazilian music and other smooth times from the Cafe Apres Midi series. I'm probably going to redo it with a mix of Japanese music next. http://fistulaspume.muxtape.com/

  6. RobP says Getting to this, Jen, but anything I do online beyond reading and writing seems to interfere with the software on my turntable to mp3 converter, and I must finish a very important Dead Moon mission. Just stumbled across some great tracks I'd forgotten, so whenever I get around to a mix or a mux (it's still a mix, right? it's the 'tape' thing that's not accurate. i think they made a mixtake.) expect some Fred Cole. I of course was thinking of starting with my favorite hard liquor and The Twilight Sad and making a Scotch tape.

  7. jenny says Rob, I can burn you one if there are technical issues...the sound quality is not so great anyway on muxtape.com

  8. RobP says No techno difficulties, jen, but I love yr mixes. Finally listening now, was just busy with other music the last couple days (can't keep track of everything I've been given the last couple months, it's weird I still wind up buying things - got that Alcest album the other day cuz I got tired of listening to the videos - hard to find their songs otherwise.) I really look forward to driving around with my windows down and Ecstatic Sunshine cranked as people on the sidewalk look up and wonder what the hell's wrong with my car. I think that's the one where you did a magical job making it fit in the midst of this otherwise fairly pop mix. Oh, and you named it after one of my preferred appellations for you, how nice.

  9. jenny says "I really look forward to driving around with my windows down and Ecstatic Sunshine cranked as people on the sidewalk look up and wonder what the hell's wrong with my car." The thing about Rob's posts is that they almost always make me pee myself laughing at least once...see above. but yeah, I thought the feedback in Experimental Aircraft fed nicely into the feedback in Ecstatic Sunshine. The step you have to watch is the one between Functional Blackouts and Peg Simone. But I like 'em both, what the hell.

  10. RobP says you ain't sending me a laundry bill, are you? hey, when i get to the vetiver track it's playing the peg simone again instead. so i guess i do have technical difficulties.
