I've been really enjoying an album called A Mouthful by an almost ungoogle-able duo called The Do. (They're named after the first note on the scale, a la "Do, a deer, a female deer..." etc.)The singer, a woman named Olivia, has a wonderful, blurry, child-like voice...little bit of blues tucked into essentially pop rock cadences. She's backed by a guy named Dan, who puts enough beat and instrumentation in to keep things interesting and not quite comfortable.I'm putting "On My Shoulders" up on the player for you.
