They Knew You Well

Retribution Gospel Choir is Alan Sparhawk's new project, but it is not at all like Low. It's much fuzzier, dirtier (sonically, I mean -- as far as I know he's still exceptionally moral and Christian for a rock guy)and more distorted...and, to be honest, I like it better. What do you think? Here's a cut off the self-titled album which will be coming out on Caldo Verde in early April.

juepucta says Loving it. Just read your post as track 4 off my promo copy plays here. It is a damn good grunge album mind you - am i crazy because i just called it grunge? Fuzzy is a perfect descriptor. -G.

jenny says Hi, Keith, I'm glad you're back. I wouldn't personally call this album "grunge" either, though I can see what Juepecta's talking about. But be nice to him. Juepecta's the only person on MOG who likes the Sadies as much as I do.

astronot says Great-sounding stuff. Alan is awesome--and I see some "Drums & Guns" tracks were remade on the album. Definitely be picking this one up.
