When do we start compiling the MOG "Worst of 2007". How about now?

I was watching VH1 this weekend and that Daughtry song was the number one video of the week and I literally laughed my way thru it. I thought it was an insult to Creed or even ( *shivers* ) Nickelback. I'm sorry, I thought it was horrible. I like that Regina Spektor was at #2 tho'. Sort of redeeming. Can you believe I just pulled this song off of Multiply in order to post it here? Sad.

    Rawkkiddoh says August, he was the guy everyone thought was going to win last year. When he was booted off, it caused quite the stir. When he left, the band Fuel tried to sign them to their band and instead he went solo.

I was involved in another blog & the people on there were into AI so I got curious & checked out the website since I don't have cable TV. I not actually watched the show but have seen enough clips from it.

    DJ7 says OK, I'm obviously in the minority here & at the risk of being shot (or laughed off MOG), I actually like Daughtry and yes I even watch A.I. What can I say, I enjoy watching Simon Cowells honest (& often somewhat cruel) criticism. I really can't say anything about the Daughtry video, havn't watched video's or MTV since the 80's. Granted his 1st album after AI is extremely commercial (& poppy) but so was Kelly Clarkson's initial debut and look at how much better her more recent material is. Everyone has got to start somewhere! Left to his own devices, Daughtry would have probably preferred to create a much grittier album (something much closer to metal) but I'm sure his producers weren't having it (I'll admit this is a shame). Yeah he chose to promote himself via American Idol & elected a to take a "solo" career over the offer from Fuel but you can't cucify the guy for wanting to go in a direction that will (hopefully) some day allow him to develop his own sound! Just my opinion -- hey everyone's entitled...

    chefs addiction says I´m not from here, not american at all and AI seems pretty lame to me, anyway, I´ve been listening to three or four songs and I didn´t know this guy came from this stupid reality show, and let me tell you something............. I´m so fuckin´in love with him, you just can´t imagine how much, and this is ´cause most of his songs are so related to me and to the life that I´m living in the States right now so hell yeah this CD is gonna be one of my favorites in all times just because he got me from the very begining without knowing who has and caus is gonna remember my days in Texas.
