   BAD says I love the band name and the song after which it was named. My friend has an EP vinyl with like 8 versions of that song. I thin it also had orange/yellow puppets in places of the pink ones. Moreover taht track is really sweet. I'm officially freaked in.

   Augusts1 says Here's the origin of the "Mah Nom Mah Na" song done on the Muppet Show which was a remake: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mah_N%C3%A0_Mah_N%C3%A0 I'm old, so I recall when it was popular as a kid. I also recall that Muppet sketch too & loved that show! I also adore Menomena, they are my new fav band & listen to their new cd almost everyday! Also it's not clear that Menomena got their name from that song either, check out their page on wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menomena
