So, I got this album as a complete shot in the dark. All I knew is that my Hip Hop selection in my collection was weak at best. (Yes, I can bust a rhyme - all be it on accident)I cannot stop listening to it...I actively try to not listen to it - but I just can't help it.This is not only the best hip hop I've heard in a long time...it's the best R&B/Funk album. Amazing beats, melody and great guests riping it up verbally. I'm obsessed at this point. So what I'm asking is:Please give me more. (that's not really a question though)Could you please give me the scoop on some other underground/indie hip hop? There you go.As Elvis said..."I don't want it, man, I need it."Help a brother out.boom-bip

Okay! Listen to Busdriver, Aceyalone, Kool Keith, Jean Grae, Mos Def (with or without Talib Kweli), and the French artists MC Solaar and Sheryo.

**MF Doom**, I've been listening to his album _Mm.. Food_ for the last few days now and I can't stop. It's marvelous stuff bro. Lets see... Wu-Tang is raw, simplistic beats pumped with witty and mythical lyrics, A Tribe Called Quest has more jazz inspired beats, and they're circa mid/early 90s. As mentioned above the Mighty Mos Def is good, then there's The Roots, Jay Dee (R.I.P.), Common, etc. etc.

Try the underground 12 step program
It goes a little something like this: Kev Brown, Kenn Starr, Cool Calm Pete, Bisc 1, Little Brother, RJD2, Jedi Mind Tricks, Blackalicious, W.Ellington Felton, Psalm One, Diaspora, and Binary Star.
Or you can check out RZA's Afro Samurai for some of his underground picks (highly recommended).
Good Luck
