So...I just discovered that the highly touted "reunion" of the Smashing Pumpkins is all but a sham. Only two of the original members are actually participating in this new project. Neither Darcy or Iha, absolute staples of the original band, have anything to do with the new album. So how is this in any way a "Smashing Pumpkins" reunion? Billy Corgan and James Chamberlain rock and all, but a full "Smashing Pumpkins" they do not make, in my opinion. I really wish that I would have discovered this earlier...before getting all excited about the release. What a let down. I guess, if I stop to think about it, it really was too good to be true. Maybe next time I hear about about a "reunion" being on the horizon, I'll be more skeptical and do my homework before getting all hyped up!So disappointed!!! :(
