Did anyone happen to be at the Memphis show last nite [the 12th] to see Ryan Adams?My friend who was there (i didn't quite have the funds to drive the 4-5 hours over and pay for a ticket in too)said that it was a very bad show- he came in drunk (now that's a shock) and didn't even stand up for most of the show, along with not even saying anything to the audience when he came out or anything. She brought up a very true fact that when she had listened to the shows that were recorded, he usually seems to be really talkative and appreciative of the crowd, but this week, he just didn't want to be there and could've cared less, to the point it really came through.Any thoughts?Have a great one!Jenny(EDIT: after writing that then looking at some of the past sets from Mr. Adams, I feel as if I have spoken harshly about him. Though I would've been ticked if I had driven out there and was paying a lot of money to see him..I hope his bad day was only just a bad day..)
