and Okkervil River is helping this day. Seriously. This band is amazing.If you haven't listened to them, my synopsis of their sound is as follows: take wilco, ("AM" era - this is where i could be off a bit..), minus a little twangy, slow it down a little bit, add rhett miller-esque vocals and there ya go. The twang is probably where my description goes screwy, but alas, they're from Austin so there's still some twang..yeah...do yourself a favor and don't go by my description.
