Actually, this might be better suited to a Sunday morning, or even a hungover Saturday brunch. But sorry, I can't be that patient. Thanks to Cody for throwing this song on a mix and introducing me to Solomon Burke's second act. He's a treasure.(Both Solomon and Cody are, in truth....)

  8. soulrocket says i watched a solomon burkes concert on spanish tv when i was a kid & all i can remember is that he was fat, sweaty & liked to crank his throat singing. loved this video a lot too. cody & ivy, you guys sure are polite :-P

  11. ivylander says Funny, I haven't seen that much rudeness from MOGgers. One or two people, in fact, have claimed from time to time that the tone around here is a little bit TOO civil. I am not one of those people....
