Holy cow. I've been listening to Apparat's newest album _Walls_ and I just can't get over how beautiful, technically intricate, light, playful and multi-layered his music is. This is all while being unabashedly electronic and strangely organic. At some point he was streaming his entire album via website (actually "here":http://www.apparat.net/v1.0/releasedetail.7.Walls.html) and I was immediately smitten after hearing _Not A Number_. See the end of this post of some aural blissed-out comfort music.
Most of the time I go straight to an artist's website to learn more about them (because strangely, I never really hear of someone from just one source) and the "ABOUT":http://www.apparat.net/v1.0/page_about.html section covered everything I needed to know about him as a performer. A brief recap: Apparat is a man named Sascha Ring who is from Germany. Awhile ago he moved from the smaller countryside into Berlin and has set the city on fire ever since. His recorded music is much more laid back than his apparently Rave inspired live shows hence a differentiation between Apparat and Apparat Band on his website.
