Those are all good and somewhat predictable. I am glad to see they included Rushmore.
The soundtrack for the movie Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is a rare find (my son got it for me) and really good! It's an eclectic mix, with everything from Ray Charles to Dream Academy to Emmylou Harris's cover of Back in Baby's Arms. It would have been a pleasant surprise to see that on the list---I was also a little deflated when I saw that 1971's Clockwork Orange soundtrack was "missing"-- it is another favorite of mine (but obviously not Time's , haha).
BrianGM.. FLASH!!! AHAAAA.. love it!!! thanks for posting that!
I for one am a big fan of soundtracks. My all time fav is from the LEGENDARY Christine!
But Ive loved many, from Spawn, to Trainspotting to High Art to Hackers to Singles (someones showing their age). But soundtracks are a great way to get get exposed to many different songs all at once.
Heres to the all mighty soundtrack never dying!!
Here Here!
Lydia,
Since I played that I haven't been able to get it out of my head. Great tune! I'd love to say it's a great movie, but I'm remembering something I watched as a kid. I have a feeling it's pretty cheesy. By coincidence, I found Fiddler on the Roof last night while TV surfing (never saw that before) and Topol is in Flash!
As far as great movie soundtracks, I like many that you mentioned. I'm not familiar with High Art and may have to go looking. Another one that I liked was Until The End of The World.
oh Flash Gordon is MEGA cheese. but still fun!
High Art is one of my FAV movies!! great music, great mood, just really beautiful to watch. Hope you like it.
