I always get the willies when I hear Julian sing. The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.

Julian says "I spent most of 1990 working on this album - it was hard work! I like a lot of the songs and of course Saltwater did extremely well all round the world. It was number 1 in the Australian charts for 4 weeks and top 5/10 in various other countries around the world, except America,Where I believe very litle support was given.

I would have to say that My best memory about this project was being able to write, record and sing with one of My all time favorites - Paul Buchanan from "Blue Nile" fame

This is from a live set.

Love it!!  I saw Julian live in.....1985, when "much too Late for Goodbyes" was a hit (also Valotte ...sp.?)

Anyway, he is great, and I think he's received a bad rap from SOME people....

Hey . . . I know this song!  I thought the only Julian song I had heard was the hit mentioned above.  Not bad.

It's one of those cases where no matter what you did, you'd piss people off just for being who you are, really.

I welcome the artistry of the offspring of music greats. This is a great track live or in the studio version. This shows the potential of what we could be enjoying, if Julian felt there were enough people out there supporting him, rather than criticizing him and drwing comparisons.
