WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

live Kaisers

As the most eminent deadmande... is wont to say "live music is better",here is the first single from "Off With Their Heads" performed live. From Uncut: "Never Miss A Beat", a slyly subversive football terrace chant which, like "I Predict A Riot", pokes fun at the ASBO'd-up lumpenproletariat ("what did you learn today?/I learned nothing… what did you learn at school?/I didn't go… what do you want for tea?/I want crisps") whilst simultaneously displaying a sneaking admiration for the demographic ("the kids on the street who never miss a beat"

This has a nice sound, you know?  Good "bristlely" rock n roll.

this should be the theme for the blind Sarah Palin followers. "It's cool to know nothing"...  not to mention that someone yelled out "Off With His Head" refering to Obama at a Palin rally.

    >>>>And what?  What is your point?  Nothing stupid is ever shouted at an Obama Rally?  A Joe Biden fibfest?  Which is more immflamatory?  The lone clown who shouts the garbage?  Or the collective clowns who repeat it (in alleged disgust) ad nauseum ad infinitum?

I'm sorry man, but there are definitely more dumb people at Palin rallies.  Her entire rhetorical approach is set up to appeal to people's dumber natures. This video was already posted on mog once, but it deserves to be posted again.

Do you have any idea how smugly egotistical that sounds?

hey, sorry, I'm backing down here.  I didn't mean to start a political back 'n' forth.  there's too much of that on the internet already anyway, and mog isn't the place.  If you're a supporter of McCain, an independent, or just simply wanting to give each side a fair shake, more power to you.

@Stevedannemiller, (man, I thought my name was a pisser to spellout for a single digit typist)

I apologize,  I didn't mean to bite your head off.  I do not doubt your sincererity nor your honor.  But we must choose our words carefully, you know?

Whatever you may think of Sarah Palin remember this.  Yes, she is not as "worldly" perhaps as some would like.  But when she was elected gov of AK she had to educate herself about oil companies.  Every aspect of the business.  She forced the oil co's to consider environmental concerns, Indigenous labor laws, and a host of other issues.  She also shook them down for more money.  Did she line her pockets?  The pockets of her cronies?  Her party?  No to all of the above.  She made it pay off for all Alaskans.  Pretty friggin' rare in politics these days, says I.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Sarah Palin has the intellectual wherewithall to learn anything she chooses to.

There are many reasons to criticize the Republican platform & Candidates

There are many reasons to doubt the Democrats platform & candidates

In the end,  its most important that we accept the outcome and try to move forward together.
