Truth be told, I was a Donovan fan back in the day as were many artists at the time including the Beatles. He influenced both John Lennon and Paul McCartney when he taught them his finger-picking guitar style in 1968.

Thankyou for asking after me the other day....The dampness finally got to me and I developed a sore throat, and various associated ailments.
Unfortunately my daughter stepped on the mouse before I could ask it what it wanted. My daughter is now traumatised!

It's surprising to hear that Lennon & McCartney learned that picking style so late. That means that there's one thing that I mastered (somewhat) before them!
