WE DO THE MASHED POTATO AND THE FUNKY CHICKEN

Shame on the Moon

Here is a tune penned by Rodney Crowell, one time husband of Rosanne Cash. Usually associated with country music, his songs have a much wider reach, spanning rock, folk, swing, and bluegrass. This particular song was originally covered by Bob Seger on his 1982 album, "The Distance", it is here covered by Eleanor McEvoy, an Irish "singer/songwriter" and taken from her latest release "Love Must Be Tough"

I find myself always going back to this song for repeat plays on the ole ipod which tells me it's time for a MOG post.

It certainly requires more than one listen.

theres some very tasty drums and pedal steel going on in the back of that, great tune, another little gem fished out of the seemingly bottomless inrumford music pit

I am liking your Eleanor McEvoy. This one and the one about trouble are my favorites. Thanks.
