Confide in Me
-
Artist:

This was released to push Tomorrow's Girls as a single release from the Kamakiriad album. Not sure where this came from originally but was included on the Japanese EP with four other tracks including alternate versions of Tomorrow's Girls.
I really like this song

Love the piano at the beginning... great groove too. MMM... good vocals too. Thanks for posting this.
Wow. Other than those horrible demos Becker and Fagan did pre-Dan, tracks like this are as rare as hen's teeth. Plus, I like this a hell of a lot MORE than anything on Kamakiriad. It's not over-produced and has a solid rock groove.
Much appreciated!
I hear there are a few rarities on the Fagan box set, but until they're released on iTunes, that's a non-purchase, since I own all three solo releases.
AND...do you know Walter Becker's second solo release is coming out very shortly?
They had a free download at amazon for one of the tunes off Walter's new lp which I snagged,
I agree with you that this tune is much better that any of the tracks on Kamakiriad, but that being said, I am still a fan of Kamakiriad.
Coincidentally, I saw that box set at Newbury Comics today and I was tempted, but given, like you, I have all the single discs, $55.00 was a little to steep.
"Confide in Me" is a keeper. Not long ago i realized that I could record digitally from streaming audio from the internet the same way I record digitally from my vinyl and cassettes, but this is the first one I've done that with.
