Cody B is right. I threw my soy chai latte and hit these guys. (http://mog.com/inrumford/blog/1575163) A nice little acoustic roots act from NYC strongly channeling Stephen Stills.
They show a lot of promise - hope they live up to it...

Nice! never heard them before & really enjoyed these selections (what MOG is all about=),
now I must be off to read about the chai-chucking - this just gets curiouser & curiouser
uh-oh, there is no explanation, there is no logical reason why the chai was thrown ... it's a koan, isn't it?
`The path does not belong to the perception world, neither does it belong to the nonperception world. Cognition is a delusion and noncognition is senseless. If you want to reach the true path beyond doubt, place yourself in the same freedom as sky. You name it neither good nor not-good.'
I agree with Naomi - that's one of the great things about MOG - turning each other on to new music.
Thanks for this one, inrumford.
I've actually been into Stephen Stills (and his various bands and musical projects) for many years now. All the way back to Buffalo Springfield
Stephen has achieved iconic status, wouldn't you say?
Glad you liked...
Oh, yeah - Mr. Stills is right up there with the Elders overseeing what is our musical heritage.
Even though he is predominantly known for being a songwriter and vocalist - I always liked the way he played guitar.
The Stills-Neil Young collaborations are still some of the best music ever made.
