Lay Low

Posted over 2 years ago

Heard wafting through the rarified monastery air was this tune by Singer-songwriter Lovísa Elísabet Sigrúnardóttir, a.k.a. Lay Low. She has been named as one of the most promising new artists back in her home country Iceland and as a potential Harem acolyte :-)

Great chillin' tune. Is that her in the picture? It may be the handlebars with the bell, but she looks 13.

    M-RX - you stole my line! ;-)

Nice tune, Rummy. Kinda Icelandic twee-ish alt-country???

Say, what's this Harem you boys are putting together? Does this have something to do with Mr. Knife and his Fine Frenzy?

Well, Lady Miss Ian, the "Harem", as mentioned above, is in reference to the fine ladies who assist me in monastery maintenance. And I, in return, train them in the finer arts, as it were. Somewhat symbiotic, in the broader sense of the word. :-)

    Holy crap, y'all! ;)

This is a really sweet, soothing ditty.  I like!  But are you sure this is not an unearthed recording of Bjork when she was in junior high?
