An authentic rarity, this double CD set was originally a charity project for legendary weekly British music mag the NME. Like the name suggests, its a cover album of Elvis tracks from his movies. This isn't parody, mind. This is a labour of love from the King's famous fans.
Every track is a highlight. Includes stand out tracks by legends like Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and Aaron Neville. What lifts it above the ordinary are amazing tracks by the stars of the long-ago, late 80s - featuring Holly Johnson, the Primitives and the Blow Monkeys. The Pop Will Eat Itself number "Rock-a-Baby-Hula" is alone worth whatever you'll pay for this album.
