My opening farewell

This tune was originally released in 1972 on Jackson Browne's debut album. Written by Jackson, Bonnie has recorded it on numerous occasions, and in so doing, has made it her own. This is one of my favorite versions, taken from "Road Tested" and recorded live with Jackson on harmony vocals.
The depth of emotion and feeling in Bonnie's vocal is part and parcel to her making this song her own.
This came up on the shuffle as I was out for my daily run and it served to remind me how much I love this song.

Lovely song, and lovely version. This, and "I Can't Make You Love me," from the same album.
ya gotta love shuffle for wonderful reminders like this one! :)
The title of this post scared me. The content charmed me
Very pretty and sad. Their voices blend beautifully.....you ran to this, eh?
actually, I ran with it :-)
Well, I'm glad you didn't smack into a tree again (ALMOST smack into)
good point - they are unyeilding suckers, aren't they. Course, from what i'm told, their bark is worse that their bite :-)
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... bad me
Beautiful song.
