The fact that the Furs worked with Steve Lillywhite weighed heavily in their favor. At the turn of the early 80s, Lillywhite and a handful of other up-and-coming producers were turning out the greatest in New Wave and Post Punk music including such projects as U2's October. The reality is that no matter how great a band is, a good producer at the helm is always essential to its sound and success.

Really getting sick of hearing the old comparison to that melodramatic, commercial pop outfit called Coldplay. Whose motives of existence are totally different, and whose following wouldn't know the more refined taste of Vega 4 if it came up and bit them. Can't leave the the subject alone can they.

Not her best album creatively or via inspiration, it being highly reminiscent of run-of-mill Celine Dion dribble. That is not to say that the record is boring, it is only to say that it is rather watered down. However, what pleases the listener and keeps the attention on the music is the seductive nature of Easton's voice and the delicate beauty that we know is going with it. I received this album
