Hang in there indiepixie. I have found that keeping the scream in makes things worse. If you can, find a private place like your car or your closet...and just let a primal scream out. It does wonders. Or you could just randomly punch a stranger while doing a good ninja scream, but that may be percieved as mean.

Marigold- the irony of NYC is that NO ONE would hear me from my apartment if I screamed. It would appear like a faint little rustle of leaves just a block down... But the point is, I am too tired and depressed to use that energy to let it out. Instead- I rage on my keyboards and listen to music REALLY loud. :) very mature of course.

If I screamed, no one would hear me, I lost my voice....I missed 3 days this week due to the flu and bronchitis all rolled into one....CAN ANYONE SAY 5 DAY WEEKEND??? AAAAHHHHHHH......and trompin through the cold misty fog in 40 degree weather ain't helping my recovery......

poor TD- i know the feeling- lost my voice last week too. drink tea. don't smoke. bundle up. and crush and enhale airbourne like a pro :)

I had no idea the Smiths were from the island of Sodor; I always thought they were from Manchester!

Anyway, thanks for the triple shot--I know the Smiths have this reputation as a mopey band, but I always found Morrissey's lyrics really funny. Haven't heard a lot of that humor from him lately, but he had a dark, wicked sense of humor back in the day.

I can totally relate... Three bands that continually help me remain "grounded".
