Ok sooooo today is my birthday, Normally I DESPISE my birthday, not because I have issue with getting older (I think I look fabulous for a late 30's kind of woman lol I feel fabulous about who I am and that is truly amazing) History of the summer months for me are horrible, most of the tragedies of my life have taken place in the summer so its kind of taken on a meloncholy nature for me. dreading fathers day first (my mom died on a fathers day so even though the dates change the day still brings back bittersweet memories) the sunshine, the 4th of July, then my birthday. This year I am happy to say that I feel much better than Im used to even though its ony 126am I am not in the normal funk the wee hours of day bring on July 8th.

way back when I picked the name Imevrywoman because I was blessed enough to fully understand the power God blessed us with as women. We are far more powerful then I am sure we can even really imagine. I realized that anything a man needs every single woman in the world has it inside of her but it takes a comibination of of two things to bring it out of her the first is a true and honest sense of self and the second is people in her life who draw out the good and dont antagonize the bad. I realized that it is indeed all in me, I am a woman who loves being a woman, I am a woman who is inspired by a strong man, I am a woman who does what she has to do to get things done, I am strong and loyal, faithful and caring, nurturing and loving. so the words "its all in me" became my banner.

Music has played a vital part in my life, the emotional train wreck I can be creates a unique me, who wouldnt be half as interesting lol. songs can clear my meloncholy (Bitter brings me to tears with the quickness) it can send my joy soaring (ever listen to a Stevie Wonder cd on a sunny day and just cant stop smiling) it can remind me of who I am (black butterfly sets my soul free and reminds me every time of who I am) or it can make me feel sexy and like the most beautiful woman in the world (Inside my love evokes pure sensuality from me)

so today, Im gonna celebrate me, Im gonna celebrate you, Im gonna celebrate life, turn my radio up and fly freely down the freeway, windows down, hair blowing and allow music to define a new day for me, and I suggest you do the same, find your anthem and BLAST IT!!!!!
