So I just got back from spending a month in Switzerland studying graphic design.The main two language are French (which was spoken where we stayed) and German (worst language ever invented if you ask me)Now every once in awhile if you had a question you could find someone who spoke broken english, that was nice. The BEST part though, all the radios play english. I think that during the entire month, I maybe heard 2 or 3 songs on the radio that I had never heard.So all these adolescents, listening to our english music and singing along, do they even know what they are saying? Weird. When people who listen to rap say "I just like the beat" well I guess these swiss people honestly "just like the beat/music" Because they definately don't know everything that they are singing. I'm just glad that I actually know what is being said as I listen to songs. I think music is 50% lyrics. Bad lyrics can turn an amazing song to crap. Vice versa.Amen. Switzerland is freaking AMAZING! If you go to europe, skip Italy, London, and all the mega tourist places and get lost in Switzerland, you won't get bored for one second. Oh and it's safe and you probably won't get mugged either. It's clean, gorgeous, and simply amazing. All words and pictures are understatements, you HAVE to see this place.
