Michael Moore's Capitalism: A Love Story

I don't know if the new Michael Moore movie, Capitalism: A Love Story, is going to have a soundtrack album or not. But I saw a screening last night and the film is spectacular. It'll be released October 2. I reviewed it at DownWithTyranny this afternoon. What I didn't mention, though, is that the film is chock full of great music, put together by Jeff Gibbs. The movie starts with scenes from bankrobberies-- the old fashioned, conventional kind-- set to the music of Iggy Pop, a compelling new version of "Louie Louie" he did specifically for Moore. I wish I had a copy to share. I also wish I had a copy of the closing song, Merle Haggard's cover of the Woody Guthrie 1940 classic, "Jesus Christ" (AKA- "They Laid Jesus Crist In His Grave").
