Did you see that story today about Republican ex-congressman (and evangelical maniac) Mark Siljander being indicted for shipping money off to Taliban war lord and terrorist Gulbuddin Hekmatyar? "Where Is The Love" comes from the L.A.-based Black Eyed Pears' 2003 breakthrough album, Elephunk. It hit #1 almost everywhere in the world (except in the U.S., where he just managed to eke out a top 10-- despite the presence on it of Justin Timberlake). I doubt it was #1 in Afghanistan-- where they used to cut your ears off when Hekmatyar was in charge of part of the country. I wonder if Siljander will be swaying to it while he awaits trial.
