Ministry: Just One Fix

Last night I went to see the Anvil movie. I liked it-- but I'm an old time Anvil fan. Still there's a sense of comic-tragic angst, sometimes inspirational, sometimes hopeless, that could appeal to anyone at all. The new film about Ministry, Fix won't be quite as easy to get behind for non-fans. It's the ultimate rock'n'roll movie, warts and all, that a commercial venture like the Rolling Stones could only have hoped they could make. When asked for a review of the film, Trent Reznor, who's in the film more than any other non-band member, said "Are you sure Al wants this movie released?"

I wondered the same thing-- but, knowing Al-- just for a moment. I'm in the movie too and they sent me an advance screener-- it'll be out in 2010-- so I could see my scenes. I don't care about my scenes; the movie is startling and powerful. It inspired me to make a little clip of "Just One Fix."
