I live in a very ugly 1950's suburban america house. while there isn't much i can do about the outside (the house isn't mine, and besides, i don't have the money to hire labor for painting and landscaping.), i'm trying, with my limited budget and time, to break the house of it's disgusting asthetics. Picture, if you can stand the horror, those old cheap wood paneled walls. Thankfully, mine are

Yes, we do have a few good venues, where you can find rock and occassionally punk in it's purest forms. However, the majority of the city is lost in the "dirty south hustle and flow" rap scene, stuck in some sort of retro elvis/jesus worship, or hipster scum. I can deal with the

yeah, i'm still not used to how music works these days. can some one please bring over a record or make me a tape to listen to in my walkman? and then actually make time to have a conversation about what interesting new noise they have given me? OR... can some one explain to me why there are several bands i want to add to my pandora staion i've found on myspace, but pandora doesn't know?
