  3. deadmandeadman says Yes. He recorded more extensively, and for a longer period of time. Robert Johnson garnered his fame because of his songwriting as much as for his guitar playing. Although his playing improved remarkably in a relatively short period of time, in truth what he really did was catch up with the competition.

  4. hesiod says so then why do you hear more about robert johnson then Son House, I've watched scorsses' about the blues, I don't remember Son House, but I think I'll rewatch the series to see if he is mentioned

  5. hesiod says I just looked him up on rhapsody and you are correct there are alot of recordings gonna have to do some extensive listening and it also indicates that he was in the scorese's the blues definately gonna have to rewatch that also, thanx for the hook up
