I have seen three shows so far this summer and all three have been excellent.June 21: Wilco at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD.July 13: Richard Buckner at Ram's Head Tavern in Annapolis, MD.July 21: Old 97's at Artscape in Baltimore, MD. I have just been thinking about how I would kill to hear "Barrier Reef" right now... and then I realized that I have my ipod in my bag and can hear it whenever I want. It's strange how my craving for certain songs can be as intense as the craving for food. My boyfriend and I are trying to save money right now so I am not sure we'll make it to any shows for awhile, unfortunately. I spent $125 to have my Wilco poster framed, which was kind of a silly expenditure, in retrospect. But I suppose I will appreciate it in a year when we get our basement finished and I have a place to hang it. (Right next to the Dolly Parton pinball machine.)
