So I'm browsing the internet looking for worthwhile news to devour while patiently waiting for my class registration appointment to be confirmed. I end up on some gadget site checking out the latest techie doodads and whatzits and I find this little thing on MOG. I read the article and find out it's some kind of myspace for the musically obsessed and I sit back and think "OHMIGOD! THAT"S ME!" So I click here and there, sign away my soul and now I'm here ready to share with the world my complete and utter lust for music in all of its forms.Just to say, I'm first and foremost an artist. My preferred weapons of mass distraction are the pen and pencil. Most compartmentalists would call me an "illustrator", but no matter. I draw comics and I love it. Music, mainly hip-hop, is my inspiration. Most of my ideas come from listening to music. Whether directly from an image in a lyric or, indirectly, through the mood or atmosphere created by the song, I tend to draw better with a set of headphones on or the speakers blasting away in the background.I'm excited to join and see what others are listening to. God knows I need new music like fiend needs the crackrock. Knowing me the novelty of this site will fade away in a month or two. But, it's a new year and bad habits can be dropped in favor of new, more fun ones, yes? I hope so. Can't stand myself and my old ways. Oh well.
