WHERE THE HOKEY POKEY "IS" WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

I will be your light

This song has been running through my head for the past week or so, culminating in yesterday in which I listened to it over and over again on my way to and from work. I think there are a couple of reasons for this. First, for some reason this song just feels like autumn to me. Second, it is one of those songs that makes me smile while I'm listening to it. I haven't been in a bad mood this week, but sort of a blah one. At one point I saw my reflection in the window of the train I was riding in last night, and I had this giant grin on my face. It had to be because of this song.

When I finally got to see the Beta Band play live after years of High Fidelty-esque fan worship, they didn't play my favorite -- and probably their most famous -- song... Dry The Rain. There were tears at bedtime that night, I can tell you. :(

I would have been sad if I saw them live and they didn't play this song!
