This song has been running through my head for the past week or so, culminating in yesterday in which I listened to it over and over again on my way to and from work. I think there are a couple of reasons for this. First, for some reason this song just feels like autumn to me. Second, it is one of those songs that makes me smile while I'm listening to it. I haven't been in a bad mood this week, but sort of a blah one. At one point I saw my reflection in the window of the train I was riding in last night, and I had this giant grin on my face. It had to be because of this song.

It does sound autumn-y for some reason!
Who can forget that HF scene...
you know, by playing that song you will now sell 5 copies of the beta band in the store, don't you?
oh man, andrea...can you imagine if we worked in a record store together?
i love this song so much. for some reason it always reminds me of riding the trains in chicago.
Great song for us up here in the rainy NW, goes with the pitter patter of the drops on your windshield, oh ye, quite a nice song to groove to in my morning hours here thanks! I need more coffee... dancin over to my coffeepot now... this stuff is like crack no? MOGomactic, down boy...
Thanks for the proper tuning this morning, off to a fine day here! Music is an unbelievable force against all evil INdeed!
music is such a force against evil, sadness and having to go to work. i think i need to dance over to my coffeepot now, too.
p.s. will you send me some of that rain?
When I finally got to see the Beta Band play live after years of High Fidelty-esque fan worship, they didn't play my favorite -- and probably their most famous -- song... Dry The Rain. There were tears at bedtime that night, I can tell you. :(
I would have been sad if I saw them live and they didn't play this song!
