I had never heard of Melody Gardot until this song showed up on one of my song-of-the-day podcasts I subscribe to the other day. I liked it, but I think I would have preferred playing it on a gray rainy day instead of a sunny summer morning. Oh well, I still liked it a lot. I'm posting it here, aren't I?

It just happens to be a gray Monday morning here on the Pacific Coast, so this does just fine, g.p.
BTW, Melody is a Philly homegirl with a remarkable backstory - having overcome some serious disabilities to pursue a career in music that has been met with growing acclaim.
Go Philly - That's the local 10 show - the personalities on the show are tres annoying - but they do get some decent music on there !!! This is especially fine tuneage !!!
I saw something about her disabilities, something about how her doctor thought music would be good therapy after a horrible accident or something like that? Amazing.
