I won another contest

Free tickets to two concerts in two weeks - yay!Friday I got to see Nico Vega, Johnossi, and Shout Out Louds for free. Free is good.I liked the Nico Vega set, and the Shout Out Louds were awesome, but I really wanted to see Johnossi. John had his arm in a sling, but played guitar anyway. That had to be painful. But I loved their set, which was a good thing given that if it had sucked I would have been disappointed, even though the tickets were free. And I bought their CD at the merch table before the show started.I don't do reviews, so I guess that's it.

    amber says yahhhh! Sometimes I'd rather be lucky than good. Tomorrow I have a free show thanks to Marigold (Mike), who saw Frightened Rabbit and Pinback last week and somehow got me on the guest list for the Seattle show. Normally I don't go to many shows on work nights unless I *love* the band, but how do you pass up free tickets from being on the band's guest list???? In my case, you don't!

    Mike the Knife says You may already be a winner!!! (Wait. You are.) Saw the same bill in S.F., and came away happy, but I also left with the feeling that Robert Smith & the Cure toured Sweden two decades ago, impregnated some groupies, and their progeny grew up to form the Shout Out Louds.

    gympumpkin says Mike - yeah, I can see that! Anna - I'm afraid I have no luck when it comes to gambling. Except for that time I got $120 on a slot machine. Of course, I had already lost that much so I was pretty much even :/
