WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

It never gets old

Posted over 3 years ago
I'm listening to WXRT right now. They are currently playing is "No Rain" by Blind Melon. This song was released, what, 10 years ago now? I still like it as much as I did then. I still sing along. I never really got sick of it. No matter how many times I hear it on the radio or television, I never get sick of it. It's by no means one of my favorite songs, I don't think it's the best song in the world, yet it never fails to make me happy.Do you have any songs like that? What are they?

  3. drewfonts says Esthero - Everyday Is A Holiday (With You). You are not allowed to be in a bad mood while listening to this song. As my friend Gina so eloquently put it, "this song pisses rainbows". Totally agree with you on "No Rain" as well. A much-needed burst of hippie sunshine in the middle of the angsty alt-rock 90's.

  5. BobDobalina says Great song. I stumbled across an acoustic version not too long ago that's pretty good. Nice when you're looking for No Rain with a twist. You can download it "here":http://bobdobalina.multiply.com/music/item/6 According to iTunes, the songs I listen to most often are: Fever - Marah New Madrid - Uncle Tupelo That's Life - Bono (solo off The Good Theif soundtrack) The Last Days of Tecumseh - Grant Lee Buffalo Melissa (Live, Acoustic) - Allman Brothers Niteclub - Old 97s And if I'm in the gym it's: Fuckin in the Bushes - Oasis Cattle and the Creeping Things - The Hold Steady
