Great piece. This band is trying to bring back the funk. I honestly dont know how to describe them, other than an old school funk band (organs et al) with a hip-hop twist. Great band out of Toronto, they've been opening for God Made Me Funky, another great band based in Canada.Northstar has a great sound, they've got the horns going, great vocals, both sung and rapped. I saw them perform in Montreal with a friend, what an amazing set they threw on.
