The shuffle feature on iTunes is bar none one of the best Apple ideas since the original Mac itself. It not only allows you to dive deeper into your collection but also allows you to rediscover those albums long since passed over. While walking the dog tonight through the Michigan sleet, a Digable Planets song came on the iPod from Blowout Comb, the follow up to the well known 90s release Reachin' (A New Refutation of Time and Space) which contains the ubiquitous Rebirth of Slick or Cool Like 'Dat for those of us with the refrain still stuck in our heads.
Blowout Comb is one of those albums that never got its due, so here I am, in my own little way, spreading the good word.

My Trusted MOGs
Blowout Comb is, indeed, spectactular.
As a matter of fact, my boss has a copy of it stashed in the office here somewhere. Methinks I'll be ripping that to my iTunes in a matter of moments. Thanks for the unintentional reminder. :)

Always glad to be of assistance. And may I ask, where do you work that your boss has a copy of Blowout Comb hanging around? Sounds like my kind of office. Although I do work for a Brit with a healrty Black Sabbath and Placebo obession, so all is not lost.
