The reunited Pogues return stateside in March

I missed the return last year, here's hoping that won't be so this March.Also, for those who pay any mind, be warned, this will probably be only the first in a long line of ramblings about the Pogues before we reach a St. Patty's Day crescendo._______________________________________________Shows in March, 2007 The Pogues will be performing shows in March, 2007 in Chicago, New York, Philidelphia and Boston. Dates and venues are: March 5 - Congress Theatre / Chicago, IL March 6 - Congress Theatre / Chicago, IL March 9 - Avalon / Boston, MA March 10 - Avalon / Boston, MA March 11 - Orpheum / Boston, MA March 14 - Roseland Ballroom / New York, NY March 15 - Roseland Ballroom / New York, NY March 16 - Electric Factory / Philadelphia, PA March 17 - Roseland Ballroom / New York, NY Pre-sale will start at 3:00pm local time for the March 9, Boston (or really a Post-sale for this show) and March 15, New York shows on Feb 2 through this web site, http://tixx1.artistarena.com/pogues/

  2. gradys kitchen says The Pogues will forever be one of those bands that everyone remembers being great live even if they can't quite remember when the concert happened, where it took place, who you were with or why you were going by the name of Gilbert McSweeny afterwards.

  4. gradys kitchen says I saw them in Chicago in .. I'm guessing here ... 1997. Shane was already gone and Spider Stacy was helming so it wasn't what I'd hoped for but still enjoyable.

  5. Rawkkiddoh says I was lucky enough to see them with Shane, the crowd started jumping during the first song, and did not stop until they were done. I left sweaty, and drunk..... the way you should after one of their shows.

  11. kristiana says Laugh it up all yas want, but St. Patty's is me and my sweetie's anniversary, and after just reading your post I'm inclined to think that 6 years is a big milestone worthy of, say.....seeing The Pogues in NYC! What could be more bloody romantic? Nothing.
