The one that got away '05

Often times a band or a particular song will slip under the radar during any given year only to be discovered by chance. This was the case this past weekend as I traveled back from a funeral of all places. While passing my alma mater via the Interstate, I treated myself to 20 minutes of the college radio station I once loved so much, only to catch a request for Bang Theory by World Leader Pretend. Needless to say I was impressed by the tune and shocked by the lack of commercial airplay and press. Still, it is always fun to find these nuggets and to prove to yourself that you are not the all-knowing music god you thought you were.
