WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

I bought the wrong Decemberists CD

Posted over 3 years ago
I've been holding off on this for a while but I have to come clean: I bought the wrong Decemberists CD.I had a Barnes & Noble gift card, and though I normally don't buy CDs there, I wanted to use it and I already have about ten books at home that I haven't read yet, so I figured I'd buy the new Beck CD (which I bought the right one of, thanks), and the new Decemberists. The only ones in the bin were Castaways and Her Majesty (which I already have). I didn't have Castaways yet and I remembered that the new album title had a C in it, so I figured that must be it. Um yeah, it's not.I am embarassed. :D Call it an A.D.D. moment. This also explains why I already had heard most of the album already. I just thought I managed to download a bunch of advance-copy-MP3s! I'm a little slow. Has anyone else ever done something like this? Please tell me I'm not the only one. :D

  1. ladyfizzgig says Not in this way specifically, but I've definitely done similar stupid shit. But... whatcha gonna do? As long as it's quality music it should be fine, right? PS, no one would have known if you hadn't said anything. =(

  3. ROCKNROLLPIMP1 says Why you don't see new music added: I mainly listen to music in my car or on my stereo, not on my computer. This will change when I eventually move into a house and my boyfriend and I don't have our computers in the same room. He does not enjoy loud music the way I do. :) get a NEW boyfriend DAMNIT geez.....

  4. gollygee says For whatever reason, I've never dated anyone who likes music/loud music as much as I do. But the relationship works, and we don't drive together very often, so I get plenty of music time. :)
