Bjork is Awesome

It's been awhile since I've written anything on here, but the new Bjork album Volta is impressive. Granted, it will probably take more time to really appreciate this work but I already have much love. Also the artwork is very pretty, truly stunning to be quite honest.

Jazz: The American Classical Music

In my black music class today, the professor talked about John Coltrane, arguably the best jazz saxophonist in history. I enjoy listening to jazz and want to learn more about it. I also recently read a biography of Miles Davis, quite a life story I must say. An interesting aspect to consider about jazz is its heritage. Jazz, in many repects, is derived from the blues. Bmore Eruption

It's no secret that the Baltimore's club music scene has been growing rapidly over the past decade. Tv On The Radio
about 5 years ago

Last night, Tv On the Radio played the Newport in Columbus, OH. A band new to my ears, Subtle, opened up for TOTR with a great music full of bass. TOTR was terrific as expected, rocking the crowd real good. "Staring At the Sun" was a great closing piece. Also, the Newport is a classic venue for watching music. Cool crowd, cool crew, cool music, cool time.
