   MrFrost says this sounds like fun, im not the biggest akon fan but hes had a great year as far as music goes. Can you imagine all the chicks that are gonna be there? thats reason enough alone to go.

I can't take it cos it's just a badly organised event by perhaps a bunch of "idiots" who want to host an MTV party! 1) Long queue - I've seen someone standing in line for literally 4 hours (from 6pm). Invite says event starts at 8.30pm. I arrived 7pm and decided to have dinner at T.G.I. Friday's... Smart move cos every single inhabitant in that queue were frantically fanning themselves as it was a real warm evening (30 C if i'm not mistaken). 2) Long wait in queue - Like i mentioned earlier, the wait in queue was darn long - snaking up to a span of 2 buildings width, outside the club along busy Sultan Ismail. That's about 400 pax in queue (including those mingling around the queue). The earlier you're there, the longer you have to endure the heat! 3) Doors open only @ 8.30pm - what? Right on the dot? And yet the queue trickled in slower than a snail pacing its way across the corridor... What's wrong? 4) Show starts @ about 10pm. Well, the queue was still there with another 100 pax to go... I could hear the loud bass from where i was seated inside Friday's. Time to call for the bill... 5) A queue @ 10.30pm? Yes... shites! Those poor devils waiting outside could not go in as the club was full. Well, yeah everyone wants a piece of Akon action! But the security guy plus 1 wierd coloured hair chinese guy (who can't speak English for nuts!) were controlling the crowd... That wierd hair guy said something like "...full! No more space! No re-entry all-sow!" Hahaha... what a joke! 6) The push - yes i think it started... esp at the end of the upwards escalator - mighty dangerous location to hold the crowd... Someone could have just fall into the person in front at the end of the escalator! What were the "idiots" thinking!? 7) Akon - yes i heard him. He performed good (from what i gather) but with that arrangement within the premise? Nah... he deserved better! Nobody considered Maison or something - it's a better venue. It was a total madness inside Ruums and people were suffocating - yes saw a few people quickly leaving the venue and they looked like shite! Outside: > Wastage - time & sweat (at the queue) > Garbage - KFC & ciggie butts (at the queue) > Hostage - can't get in & still waiting (at the queue) Inside: > Wastage - can't see nuts! VJ Colby was there? > Garbage - bad crowd - don't know how to party responsibly - enough pushing around! > Hostage - even inside, once feels claustrophobic (stop pushing & shoving!) So, Mr. Aliaune Thiam - if you read this, just listen out man! I think you should just be back. You know you've got a big fan base here and you deserve better! In fact, we deserve better treatment too! Next time you planning a trip over, please at least let me manage your event. I'll promise you a trip you will never forget or regret! It'll be rocking... *peace* & to the "idiots" > up yers! ;p
