I read in the paper today that they think they found Amelia Earhart's bones on a remote island that would have been on her route. So they think she actually lived and was stranded based upon some artifacts they found. They will do DNA testing to confirm. A woman of monumental accomplishments.

Of course I immediately thought of the Joni Mitchell song. I was lucky enough to see this concert in 1979. She performs this solo but her band in this concert was the Pat Metheny Group with Jaco Pastorius on Bass. So thankful they released a live album of this show and a DVD. Got the DVD. The video features historic footage of Amelia Earhart and adds so much to her song.
