Tangled Up In Blue (or should I say Mangled Up In Blue?)

Tangled Up In Blue....one of my favorites and a song that is etched into my memory bank. My Mother was (and still is) a huge Dylan fan so this music became part of me early on. That being said I never bothered to learn any of his song on guitar. The other day this song was playing in my head and my thought was 'wow what a great song with a great story and a masterpiece of Dylan's, I should learn this one someday'

Last night we had friends over and polished off about 5 bottles of some great wines. This song came up somehow in conversation so it reminded me. They left around midnight at which point I stumbled out to my studio and printed out the lyrics. Looked the chords up online, set the lyric page in front of me, turned the camera on and captured my very first attempt at this song.

My inhibitions were non-existent and my guard way down but I like the raw unrehearsed feel of this. I don't usually record while this drunk so that was a first too. Come to think of it it was a very Neil Young "Tonight's The Night" approach to recording....get wasted and lay it all out there with an open soul:
