Wanted to share this with you.I was there. I thought it was 1980 but turns out this show as in 1979 in my hometown of Santa Barbara.I was a young 18 year old kid in the audience. What a show!What makes this extra special is that her band is none other than the Pat Metheny Group.I had discovered them 2 years earlier in 1977 and was a big fan of theirs.So not only do you have Joni but you have Pat Metheny, Lyle Mays, Jaco Pastorius and Michael brecker backing her up!!What a band and it is incredible for me to see this very show on video.I have the double vinyl live album but nothing like seeing it again!! (Don't ask me why they start this off with stock footage but eventually it gets to the performance)
