this isn't a man-bashing post, but sometimes you guys really suck. i love how harriet wheeler says this so eloquently without making herself look like a victim. she may sound like an angel, but that doesn't mean she isn't pissed...

    gijibae03 says lethe: as human beings, yes. i'd be inclined to disagree about perspectives though. if i were to be more politically correct, i'd revise my first sentence to say "some people suck." fortunately, it's my mog, and i can cry if i want to. :P kidding. dale: a lot of pain as well.

    River Lethe says It's cool, I just had a creative writing professor that told me that once in regards to writing with a masculine vs. feminine voice, and I thought it one of the wisest things I've ever heard. Gender is a social construct anyway (not sex, gender). And I would never ask anyone to be politically correct, so cry to your heart's content! ;)

Sometimes I'll rewind that part over and over, because it strikes me so.

    gijibae03 says how courageous of you to admit on behalf of your kind. i know that we suck too...on occassion. ;) that particular part, especially the am i cold...line, always hits a nerve with me. it's a great resolve and ending to the song.
