I think MOG is such a brilliant idea. Whenever I get a chance to actually sit down and REALLY listen to the music I have play on my itunes, I mean like really hear and feel the lyrics... I, more times than others, feel inspired to write about it... especially if I can relate or just feel moved or something. And what a PERFECT place to do so all the while by spreading your musical taste to others and discover something new to listen to yourself... I dig it. That's for sure.
Anyways, my iTunes is running straight through the letter "P." Most probably because earlier today I had it playing the new Pharrell Williams... At this point, we're up to the Pierces and the song "Beautiful Thing" just played and I honestly fall in love with this song every time I hear it....
I haven't been in love in my day, most likely because I feel I'm just too young to know, but I'm such a hopeless romantic that when I hear this song... it's exactly how I feel whenever I think of that one day when I'll be blessed enough to have a significant other/love of my life/type of person in my life... I imagine it to be beautiful LITERALLY...this entity that overwhelms me in so many ways, makes me feel happy, excited, shy yet open to this person who can make me even fall into endless fits of laughter and in love all over again.

It's amazing how many love songs you hear... but there's something about this one that just pinpoints every feeling I'd wish or hope it would be for me.... Simple yet just a beautiful thing....

The best time for me to listen to music that intently is at night in bed when it's dark and I can really concentrate. There are a lot of love songs out there. It kind of bothers me but then when I finally hear one that's on a different subject it makes it seem so much more unique and innovative.
